Notification for IASO Post Doctoral Travelling Fellowship

This is notified that the Committee for the IASO Post Doctoral Travelling Fellowship has recommended PROVISIONALLY the following Mentors and the Institutes as host Centers for such Fellowship in different subspecialities.

Accordingly The Office of IASO hereby invites application from the interested members of IASO who want to undergo such Fellowship to the emails iasosecretariat@gmail.com with a copy to the President at pk.das12365@gmail.com on or before 15th of September 5:00 PM with the following terms of references.

The Format of such application would be like the following-
• I, Dr ….working at ….as … wants to put forth my application for IASO Post Doctoral Travelling Fellowship with the following terms of references.
• That I am an Indian Citizen,my IASO membership no is …,my age is under 50 yrs by 15th September 2023, I am a Mch/DrNB Surgical Oncology passed out during ….I am interested in such Fellowship in Head Neck /Breast and Oncoplasty/Robotic/Minimal Invasive surgery/Gynaec Oncology/HIPEC and PIPAC PSM /GI/Thorax/etc
• I understand that, the duration will be for one month as an Observer only in an Institution inside India . This will help me to create an interest within me in the subspeciality for any future FNB courses, recognized by NBEMS/NMC. Any Hands on/beyond one month duration is conditional with the Host center. At the end of one month, I will have to submit a report before the Host Surgeon and the Host surgeon will also issue a certificate of completion. Both the reports would be submitted to the secretary and the President on above emails by the Host Surgeon, so that a final certificate can be issued from the IASO. The name of the certificate will be IASO POSTDOCTORAL TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP ON HEAD AND NECK SURGICAL ONCOLOGY/……….IASO will not issue any certificate beyond this one month .I will also not claim any expertise on such area in leu of this Fellowship certificate. A onetime grant of Rs 25,000 would be offered by IASO to such candidate. Providing local accommodation is subject to local host Institution and candidate has to make his or her own accommodation.
• That I have registered for the ICC 2023 and I will be present during such Interview time during a session in ICC

Last date of application is 15 th September, Provisionally the shortlisted candidates will be informed by 2nd October. The selected candidates need to register for ICC and attend. The final interview will be done during ICC preferably on Second Day of Meeting and the selection should be done before the GBM.
